Recent News: Biggest iceberg broke off || Antarctica 2021
A-76 iceberg which has become the largest iceberg till date with 4320 sqkm area is breaking apart from Antarctica and now floating on Weddel sea. This was first spotted by British Antarctic Survey and later confirmed by the European Space Agency. From 1900 to 2016 the sea level globally had risen almost 16-21 cm. Before it, A-23A was the largest iceberg with 3880 sqkm. Since 1995, such splittings have been happening frequently in Larsen Ice shelf and Wilkins Ice shelf which were known to be the most stable ice shelves.

Discovered almost 5-6 years ago, this part of Machu Pichu has now become a popular destination for tourists. There are almost 1500 visitors per day. This is one of the colorful places on earth.
Colors from red to yellow, lavender to gold and many more colors can be seen on the surface of Ausangate mountain. This is basically due to the minerals coming in contact with open-air, reacting with it and creating those colors. Apart from a popular tourist spot, this is also a holy place to the locals, every year thousands of Quencha pilgrims come here to worship.
But this is not as beautiful as it seems. These colors came due to climate change. The whole place was covered by ice, due to global warming this ice was melted and colors came out. But this place is beautiful anyway and one of the main tourist attractions nowadays.
