The Under Streetlights team wants to introduce you to Oli Eclipse. He’s an extraordinary human who photographed the artwork for our movie poster and also shot the incredible drone footage in the opening scene of the Under Streetlights movie.

Oli, a multi award winning photographer with 25 years experience was born in the UK. After he moved to Australia he found love in landscape photography while in Central Australia, where he now lives with his family. As well as capturing the stunning red centre scenery, Oli has Worked with many artists and performers to help bring out their amazing talents on stage, and in the genre of singing and performing.

In his own words Oli ‘loves to hold light, in complete stillness, no matter where the light is generated from’., where he lives with his family.

We could not have hoped for a better start to our screen journey. Under Streetlights Feature film opened to a full house and received a standing ovation at its world premiere. Thankyou Byron Bay Film Festival for introducing our story to the world. Stay tuned as this is just the beginning!!!

Hi to everyone who donated to the Under Streetlights Feature Film Pozible campaign. We know that was a long time ago and we really appreciate your patience on this. We are only just finishing the film post-production now and most of our rewards have not been possible to give out until the film was finished so we made the decision not to give any out until we could offer everyone who supported a reward. The lovely Madison Hull, our lead female actor and half of the singing duo The Wanted Gems has emailed all of our supporters who provided an email address when they supported the Pozible campaign. Please check your email, and your junk email if you can't find one in your main account, for an email from Madison regarding your reward. Very excited to share the news that Tania Nehme has come on board as the Editor of the Under Streetlights Feature Film. Last year Tania won the highest accolade in Australian film, an AACTA, for her editing on the Gulpilil Feature documentary. Tania also edited the famous feature film Ten Canoes and many other Australian classic films. We couldn’t be more excited!!!

While editing we discovered we need to do a few reshoots of bits and pieces which has the added bonus of working with the awesome cast again!

WE have started editing!!! This is an epic journey behind the scenes where we trawl through 11TB of footage and work out what needs to go where, synch audio with visual and grade all of the footage and sound. Many days and nights ahead but so excited to have started!! In the meantime here are some fun photos from our shoot!

We are 2 weeks and 2 days away from the commencement of filming the Under Streetlights feature film. We are fully crewed and cast and have all locations organised for filming. We have raised $90,000 in 5 weeks, but we still need $30,000 more to be able to pay all of the costs. This is a small price to pay when considering that even feature films on a small budget usually cost $4M. We will be launching the Pozible Crowd Funding Campaign THIS SUNDAY. There are some incredible rewards to be had.

The Under Streetlights film project is about providing youth in regional and remote Australia career and skills development opportunities in music and media. The project began 2 years ago by training interested young people at a grassroots level in songwriting, acting, public speaking, singing, and story writing. The end result was a talented group of people and an incredible story made into a feature film script, inspired by true stories.

This project not only offers young people opportunities to develop their careers but also offers them an avenue to talk about and raise the public profile on mental health, following dreams, and being your authentic self.

Under Streetlights is a feature film about two young adults from completely different backgrounds who are brought together by their common love of music. All music in the film has been written and will be sung on screen by the young people involved in the project, who are all from Central Australia.
