1. So far 4800 QSOs in our log, unfortunetly not all already in Clublog.

2. The rented iate for our return to Madeira is already ancored in Baía das Cagarras in Selvagem Grande

CR3SI - we are running 2 stations non stop, walking distance from base is always climbing about 30 minutes.

Be aware that we are in an island with a "population" of 4 people and thousands of birds, so do not expect us to have conditions to upload the log more than 2 or 3 times a day... please be patient and enjoy.

We came to the Selvagem Grande with the support of the Portuguese Navy and we are being assisted by the nature vigilants and maritime autorities. THANK YOU!

Peter Thomson, UN special envoy, was today in Selvagem Grande island, recognizing the importance of the amazing preservation project conducted by the Portuguese autorities in this Atlantic natural reserve.

CR3SI – iota AF047 Selvagens Islands – UPDATE

Due to re-scheduled transport from the Portuguese Navy, the DXpedition will be delayed 2 days, starting on the 23rd of September.

We plan to keep transmitting as long as possible until the departure schedule for the noon of the 26th.

CR3SI - SELVAGENS Islands (AF-047)

CT1BOL (Jorge Lopes), CT1DSV (José Araújo), CT1ENV (António Claro), CT3KN (Ricardo Martins) and CT3MD (José Vasconcelos), are pleased to announce that they will be active with the callsign CR3SI, from Selvagem Grande (IOTA AF-047) in September.

The initiative is part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Reserva Natural das Ilhas Selvagens, and the station is expected to be active between the 21st and 25th of September, in CW, FT8 and SSB modes.

This is a very rare opportunity to add the AF-047 reference to your logs, and the first time there will be FT8 from Selvagens Islands.
