I have a super exciting announcement- I’m teaming up with CBC to develop a new YouTube series ‘So You Want to Fix’ which focuses on solving some of the biggest problems in the world by introducing new legislation. It combines my two biggest passions- law and journalism, aaand it’s for a company I’m super proud to be associated with.
Two episodes are confirmed currently and this is the first one. It focuses on decriminalisation of s*x work- a topic I’m extremely passionate about.

I’m hoping to address racism, discrimination, politics, bizarre laws, immigration, being South Asian in Canada and so much more. We are starting with the most relevant topic of the hour, COVID and vaccines!

As many of you know I’ve recently signed on to become a video contributor at The Quint. I’m reporting on North American news for their Indian audience.

Five videos in and I’ve started facing what female on-camera journalists in India have complained about for years- online harassment. From comments about my accent, to my face to straight up abuses, the trolls leave no stone unturned.

I’m sorry the truth hurts so you have to resort to low level attacks. But it won’t stop me or The Quint from reporting on what’s true and important in the current climate.

We will take journalism back from the prime time joke it’s turned into these days.
