The Australian Workers Union (AWU) is calling on the Australian government to lower superannuation taxes for Pacific seasonal workers.
There are currently more than 30 thousand workers from around the region employed under the Pacific Australia Labor Mobility scheme, who say Pacific Island workers are missing out on access to money they've earned because superannuation is taxed at too high a rate.
"It makes me so frustrated because I did everything back home and then I waited for the response from the Super and I didn't even have any cash back, like I don't know whether they received it or if they haven't received my documents," said Fijian worker Christina Gill.
"So it's been two seasons now I haven't received my super, I went the first season and the second season I haven't received anything from super," she added.
