Today 2nd February marks the day our Great grand parents survived TC Wendy back in 1972.

This was the reason behind the relocation of our small Village called "Avar" from the sandy ground to the high land known as Tanmet a.k.a Chocolate Streets
Back then our Village was located down the coastal area where the soccer field is now.
"A wonderful place"as describe by one Villagers.

We thank the Almighty God for Guidance & Protection that times as they all survive.Despite that situation,You all overcome it all!! Appreciating you all for keeping the peace & Unity since then untill now.
I can say you are all our heroes & heroine🦸🦸
Bigman is always good that we can be celebrating this day again with you all.

First ever Food safety training done & Dusted.
Training was conducted by ministry of health at Torba province and 109 Mama did attend the 3 days training.The participants came from communities within Vanualva Island & Other came across from motalava Island.
