Taking advantage of charity programs, spreading malicious code to attack users
More than 10 websites related to religion, charitable programs, charitable funds and other areas have been exploited by cybercriminals to spread malicious code onto victim devices.
Cybercriminals look for sites that have security holes for individuals, public agencies, charities, and install malicious code. When users visit these websites, they will try to entice the user to update the browser 's Adobe Flash Player program, thereby downloading malicious code to the victim' s device.
