Our Story

Pan Africanism is a worldwide movement that aims to encourage and strengthen bonds of solidarity between people of the African context. We are strong, we are resourceful, we are Africa but whenever we here of Africa one word comes to our minds poverty. Let's help each other in the Pan Africanist spirit and make us grow by being our brother's keeper.

It is with history and the spirit of Pan Africanism that we As Africans have to do an inner search of ourselves, our culture, what we stand for and what we aim to achieve. Heavy reliance on the west have crumbled us and our leaders and also us as Africans have not helped in this regard. SELF CONSCIOUSNESS is the most reliant thing a man can have for himself. In the spirit of Mouamar Ghadafi, Nkwame Nkrumah, Thomas Sankara etc we wish to continue the legacy they left behind and move forward. Our ancestors have bled and what pains m the most is hundreds of years later we are still bleeding for the same system set in place both internal and external.

Our language, our culture, our system of education, our lifestyle, have all been cropped off and we think just one way, the Colonial way.

“There were a few farsighted Europeans who all along saw that the colonial educational system would serve them if and when political independence was regained in Africa.

For instance, Pierre Foncin, a founder of the Alliance Francaise, stated at the beginning of this century that "it is necessary to attach the colonies to the metropolis by a very solid psychological bond, against the day when their progressive emancipation ends in a federation as is probable that they be and they remain French in language, thought and spirit.” ― Walter Rodney, How Europe Underdeveloped Africa

Many will see this as a joke but it is these very things we ignore each passing day, that leads to the death of our brothers in European seas, our girls work as prostitutes, our labor force exported all for greener pastures that most often than not ending racist abuses and yet our land invaded by those who believe where ever they stand it is theirs and have the power to occupy it when and however they want. It is just a start and being conscious of these acts and how to assist one another in exposing such acts are amongst primal aims.

Mental slavery have been able to play a very big role amongst all these.

Our lands were divided by people who sat in comfortable homes and partitioned us like draft. Not minding our cultural and political coherence. Remember all these was after 400 to 500 years off slavery, and after independence new methods were developed, the scheme of borrowing and be indebted and in return pay or resources.

The story is long, we may be scientist, we may be of different disciplinarians and works of life but if we dont look into our inner self then we are looking to be lost.

May God guide us and give us the strength to withstand trial moments and knowing in mind that our legacy will live to tell the future generation of what we did a we have been inspired by our predecessors/ forefathers. That they may look upon us from above and protect us.
