FEDERAL MINISTER ABDUL ALEEM KHAN TAKES OVER CHARGE OF MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATIONS.
ISLAMABAD, APRIL 05, 2024.
Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, today, assumed the charge of Ministry of Communications. On arrival at Ministry, Federal Secretary for Communications Mr. Ali Sher Mehsood received Federal Minister for Communications. Later, an introductory briefing was given to Mr. Abdul Aleem Khan by Mr. Ali Sher Mehsood covering activities of Ministry and its attached departments. Besides, Chairman National Highway Authority Mr. Arshad Majeed Mohmand, the heads of various departments of Ministry of Communications participated in the briefing session. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Abdul Aleem Khan laid down three major principles to be adopted strictly during realization of public development schemes. The set basic principles include, enhancing revenue potentials, quality construction and maintaining transparency. He said, " I have joined politics with sole objective of public service and that national development shall ever remain our prime priority". The Federal Minister committed to undertake public welfare schemes at large furthering that all the available resources will be utilized to ensure their timely and quality completion.

محسود نے وفاقی وزیر کو این ایچ اے اور مواصلات کے دیگر ذیلی اداروں بارے مفصل بریفنگ دی ۔
وفاقی وزیر مواصلات عبد العلیم خان نے کہا کہ تعمیری عمل میں اعلیٰ معیار شفافیت لگن اور محنت کو اگر نصب العین رکھا جائے تو ملک و قوم جلد ترقی سے ہمکنار ہو سکتے ہیں - ہم اسی جذبہ کے ساتھ وزارت مواصلات کے تمام تعمیری و انتظامی امور کی تکمیل کو یقینی بنائیں گے تاکہ تعمیری منصوبوں کی بر وقت تکمیل سے عوام استفادہ کر سکیں

FEDERAL MINISTER A. ALEEM KHAN CONDOLED ENGINEERS’ INCIDENT

Islamabad April 5: Federal Minister for Privatization, Board of Investment and Communications Abdul Aleem Khan visited the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad. He called on Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong and expressed his deep sorrow over the recent accident of Chinese engineers. Abdul Aleem Khan while talking to the Chinese Ambassador said that Pakistan-China friendship is a symbol of economic stability and peace in the region. He added that there no one can harm the deep friendship between China and Pakistan and bilateral relations. Abdul Aleem Khan said that every Pakistani is saddened and heartbroken over the death of Chinese engineers. Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the families of the Chinese engineers who were victims of the accident. While writing in the book in Chinese Embassy, Abdul Aleem Khan gave positive comments for Chinese families who lost their beloved ones. Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong expressed his gratitude for Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan's visit to the Embassy and thanked him for his sentiments.

اسلام آباد۔5اپریل:۔۔۔وفاقی وزیر برائے نجکاری، سرمایہ کاری بورڈ اور مواصلات عبدالعلیم خان اسلام آباد میں چین کے سفارتخانے گئے جہاں انہوں نے چینی سفیر جیانگ زید ڈونگ سے ملاقات کی اور حالیہ دنوں چینی انجینئرز کو درپیش حادثے پر دلی دکھ اور گہرے رنج و غم کا اظہار کیا۔عبدالعلیم خان نے چینی سفیر سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پاک چین دوستی خطے میں معاشی استحکام اور امن کی علامت ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ چین اور پاکستان کے مابین گہری دفاقت اور دو طرفہ روابط کو نقصان نہیں پہنچایا جا سکتا۔عبدالعلیم خان کا کہنا تھا کہ چینی انجینئرز کی ہلاکت پر ہر پاکستانی رنجیدہ اور دل گرفتہ ہے۔وفاقی وزیر عبدالعلیم خان نے چینی سفارتخانے میں موجود کتاب میں تاثرات درج کرتے ہوئے حادثے کا شکار ہونے والے چینی انجینئرز کے خاندانوں سے دلی ہمدردی اور دلجوئی کا اظہار کیا۔پاکستان میں چین کے سفیر جیانگ زید ڈونگ نے وفاقی وزیر عبدالعلیم خان کی سفارتخانے آمد پر تشکر کا اظہار کیا اور اُن کے جذبات کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔

Islamabad, 22nd February: A contract was signed between National Highway Foundation (NHF) society and Defence Housing Authority (DHA) after months of efforts by the caretaker Minister for Communications Mr. Shahid Ashraf Tarar, Chairman NHA Mr. Arshad Majeed and Chairman NHF Mr. Naseem Khattak.
This contract will expedite the work on NHF society by resolving all pending land issues and will provide multiple routes into DHA, connecting the whole area to Islamabad Expressway. It was a long standing wish of NHA's employees which will soon take a concrete shape.
