Pros ✅ & Cons ❌ Working at a radio station 🎤 There is honestly more pros than cons, especially when its a radio ministry that its made to glorify God and help fix listeners eyes to Jesus. Here are a few pros and cons when it comes to being a Radio Host 🗣️🎙️CONS:1. No physical interaction 👭2. When you’re having a SUPER ROUGH day and you still need to talk on the mic to encourage listeners when you don’t have the motivation 🥺 ! But the good thing is that this station is a Radio Ministry and our station is an open place for feelings, prayers, tears and hugs 🫶3.Messing up on Air 🎤😬 , Even when I pre-record a show I STILL stumblle my words and I find myself on TAKE 4 🤦♀️🎬PROS:1. Knowing ALL the good tunes first 😉 🎶🎧2. Positive feedback from my listeners 🥹💗 This is what MOTIVATES ME to keep going. Especially when I hear stories of people that were having a rough day that day and then they came upon my message on the radio and it was EXACTLY what they needed 3. Is cussing bad? Does the bible say anything about swearing?
I mean, They are just words right? Can I be a Christian and cuss? 🙊
- One day I was scrolling on my Snapchat stories, and I found an old video of a friend and I; And we were cussing up a storm… Everything in me was cringing so hard, listening to myself dropping F bombs every 5 seconds 😬😬😬

I noticed a couple things watching that video:
1. ❌ One of the reason for my swearing was that I lacked the extensive vocabulary to fully express myself or bring my point across. So as something easy to fill in the blanks, I cussed
2. ❌ Swearing was a way for me to blend in with everyone, relate, not stand out (struggled with people pleasing)
3. ❌ Around that time I had a lot of anger, pain, and hurt in my heart. The bible states in Matthew 15:18 “But the words you speak come from the heart—that’s what defiles you.”

Ever since I gave my life to God, His Holy Spirit started to work in my life immensely.
One of the things God corrected me on was my speech.

He said “How can you use your lips to worship and praise me but use the same lips to curse other people and yourself?”

I realized something had to change.
The Bible urges us in James 3 that although the tongue is a small part of the body, it controls the whole course of our life.
“No man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.”

But thank God for Jesus because through him, we can receive renewal.. Romans 12:2 says this
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

It gets dangerous ‼️when people, including Christians, start putting their faith in crystals instead of putting their faith in Christ Jesus.
-People turn to these crystals for healing instead of running to Jesus for healing.
-People who try to channel power from these crystals are tuning to demonic sources, instead of tuning themselves into the only, true Power Source—the Holy Spirit.
-They are a source of manipulation, spells, and witchcraft, used to lead you away from the true Healer—Jesus Christ. You can cry out and talk to Him right now. He is your Healer and your Creator. His Spirit is your Comforter, and all you need is Him.

While crystals themselves are not evil, when we attribute magical or mystical powers to them, they can lead to idolatry and occult practices. We, as believers, must be cautious and discerning. We should avoid any objects or practices that claim to have supernatural powers apart from God.
Healing and protection should be sought through faith in Jesus, not through healing crystals.
