Tonight three members of the Yucaipa City Council, Matt Garner, Bobby Duncan, and Chris Venable approved the Serrano Estates development in the North Bench

Local resident and unofficial police watcher Jimmy Hens was out filming a possible arrest a week ago in the inland empire. Mr. Hens is what some would call a cop watcher. On Jimmy's YouTube page Social inform media he explains his intentions on his police watching activity.

During the filming one police officer is shown shining a flash light in Jimmy's direction. Jimmy goes on to say that that officer is violating the San Bernardino County Sheriff's code of conduct. Not long afterward another cop walks toward Mr. Hens and tells him he is under arrest for interfering in an active investigation. Shortly after the Jimmy's camera falls to the ground while the officer is subduing him.

"Watching Law Enforcement Officers in every community across America and informing the public of bad cops, good cops, all cops." He goes on to say,

" I am not anti-law enforcement. I am anti-unprofessional public service. Law enforcement officers that make up rules or exert authority for their own personal reasons must be held accountable via video transparency."

Yucaipa resident Cathy Sellers made bold public comment that ruffled Bobby Duncan's feathers.

Newly elected councilman Matt Garner voted to appoint new Yucaipa city manager Chris Mann. This same Chriss Mann donated $250.00 to Garners' election efforts in 2022. Chris Mann is the current city manager of Canyon Lake, C.A where he receives an income of $142,000 per year among other financial perks. Mann also serves as Chairman of Yucaipas' water board. On top of that, Chris Mann is the founder of Mann Communications, a public relations company which helps land use clients. The are concerns that councilman Matt Garner, councilman Bobby Duncan, and Mayor Justin Beaver have ushered in a new era in Yucaipa where big developers will build on what remaining rural land exists in Yucaipa to build high density housing in the North Bench. Matt Garner is himself a developer by trade, and Bobby Duncan a real estate agent. There are concerns amongst residents that both men stand to gain financially from these proposed developments. I for one happen to share their concerns and will be investigating and reporting further on the matter.

In closed session, the new Yucaipa City Council voted 4-1 to appoint Chris Mann after accepting Ray Casey’s retirement.

Newly elected councilman said,
"I'll make this short and sweet, if it was up to me I wouldn't have anything up there. I'm in ground zero up there." ( The north bench). Well, for a guy that says all that, I find it suspicious that a bunch of big time developers bankrolled your election campaign.

I've got all of Matt Garners' big money donors, and will be exposing all of it to the public at Matt Garners' first city council meeting during public comment. We gotta hold these politicians accountable.
