REPOSTING 👋 because sweet one-year-old Marley STILL needs a very special home... and fast. Will you SHARE? ❤
Marley struggles with Manx syndrome. It's a genetic disorder that affects cats with the Manx gene, which is responsible for the lack of a tail or a shortened tail. The condition is characterized by a range of symptoms, including spinal abnormalities, skeletal malformations, and sometimes, the inability to potty without assistance. From cat to cat, the degree of the condition might vary widely, with some showing very slight signs and others perhaps being badly impacted. Poor Marley is on the more severe side, and needs human assistance to be expressed. He is used to it and it is done easily, so no worries there, BUT he's not doing so well in the shelter environment. He is incredibly sweet and social and needs a home NOW. He simply is not getting the attention or enrichment that he so badly wants (we give him everything but a home is still better than any shelter, even one as cool as ours), and yet finding him just the right family who is open to learning about and managing his condition is tough. We'll teach you everything you need to know, and boy, oh boy, is Marley deserving. He is everything fabulous except for having a physical challenge! So if you know someone, or if you have room in your heart and home, let us know. Marley would love more than anything to know that his new year will be bring him the gift of a home and his adoption fee is sponsored! Find out more by submitting the application below! ❤ ❤
