We had a wonderful private neighborhood event at Pangæa Coffee Emporium this past Friday! Residents were treated to a drink of choice and took some time for meet 'n' greet with each other and our partners who came out, including W.M. Smith Contracting, Peninsula Landscape Design , Bloom Interiors, Bennett Air Conditioning, and Lori Jones-Realtor. Thank you all for coming and supporting our event!

We also got dedicated chat time with the owners, Jay and Jesse, to hear their story about how the shop started and their vision for what it would become. They are world travelers who speak multiple languages, and want it to be a welcoming and open place for all!

I had the pleasure to sit down with owners Elana and Shawn of Rosenbaum Fence Company yesterday to work on their upcoming feature article in our March issue! I am excited to share their story -- the company was actually founded by Elana's great great grandfather in 1885, and was one of the first companies founded on the Virginia Peninsula.

This Saturday- not too late to sign up online! The annual Run with the Son for Haiti 5K, which runs through the neighborhood, in conjunction with St. Kateri Church in Yorktown.

All proceeds provide opportunities for kids in Haiti to go to school - a great cause - see you there!

We had a fun neighborhood holiday party yesterday at our Clubhouse in conjunction with our partner Imperial Etiquette, LLC!

A huge thanks to all of our Stroll partners and neighborhood residents who came out to hang with us, including Ann Brown (vocalist teacher) who played piano for us, Mennowood Retirement Community who brought a fun Santa lollipop craft, Rhea Lana's of Hampton Roads, Peninsula Landscape Design and W.M. Smith Contracting who came and brought generous gift cards to give away (including free spring yard cleanup certificates!)

We did white elephant gift exchanges for both kids and adults, had a wine tasting, did crafts, Christmas Bingo, and had some delicious snacks while getting to spend time with our neighbors and friends.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our annual Running Man food drive this past Saturday! All donations went to the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank as part of the Mayflower Marathon.

Because of your giving, we were able to donate 410 pounds of food and $366 in monetary donations.
