General information
While teaching bull riding schools Kenny began getting students from Brazil, Mexico and Guatemala. Kenny took a strong interest in learning about the Brazilian cowboys because of their talent. Kenny learnd a lot through two students, Gustavo Silva and Claudio Almeida from Brazil. After studying the demographics of the Brazilians it became a fascinating market to Kenny. He had found a measurement of over 200,000 Brazilians in the greater Boston areas, right in his own back yard. After learning and meeting Lilliane Souza and her family, owners of the Brazilian Times newspaper. Kenny began structuring the first World Cup event. In 2000 Kenny formed the first World Cup in Marshfield, Massachusetts. The WCBR had bull riders from the United States, Brazil, Guatemala, Mexico and Canada. Creating a Brazilian atmosphere with an American atmosphere drew as many as 10,000 fans. Kenny then began working on recognizing the Latino Cultures. These cultures consisted of Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador. Kenny has had as many as three languages working in the arena simultaneously. There was an American announcer, Brazilian announcer, and an announcer from Guatemala. This left a great impression to a lot of people. Comments were made that you would have to see it to believe it, everything ran as if it was rehearsed. Kenny has had as many as eight country's at a single event USA, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Japan and Australia. Most of the World Cup events have been held on the East coast, reason being because of the strength of the Brazilian and Latino demographics. In 2008 the WCBR will be expanding more towards the West coast and looking to expand to other Country's.
