Mary's in the late 1920's they built the stage to handle theatrical productions with the fly gallery and lighting board. Iris regularly produced play into the 1930's with large casts and elaborate sets. Their most notable production was the "Passion Play" based on the Oberammergau play in Germany. A revival was attempted in the late 1940's into the early 1950's. Television and the move to the subu

rbs saw the diminished interest in Iris. In 2000, in preparation for the 150th anniversary, a group of parishioners took it upon themselves to rejuvenate Iris and bring the stage up to more modern standards. New solid state lighting control equipment was in installed along with a new sound system. New traveler and cyclorama curtains were purchased. Since then Iris has produced musical variety shows, Christmas programs and initiated the annual spring dinner theatre beginning with "Bed, Breakfast and Broadway" up to our current production "incorruptible" by Michael Hollinger. Iris also sponsors Sunday breakfasts and seasonal dinners.
