‼️Structure Fire‼️ Hopkins County

Hopkins County Fire Stations 17, 20, 2 en route to the former Big Smith’s BBQ location (now Wallace Processing) at 154 and 1567 for a structure fire.

All occupants out of the building. This will be Wallace Processing. Fire possibly started by a smoker in the back.

Confirmed structure fire. Notifying Yantis and additional Hopkins County stations.

Fire Marshal on scene, confirming flames showing through the roof.

🙏🏻 Prayers for this small, locally owned business.

Requesting more man power and tanker support.

Performing interior attack. Grass behind building beginning to catch fire.

As of 2:53pm, Hopkins County Station 20, Como VFD, Arbala VFD, Hopkins County EMS, Hopkins County Station 12 on scene.

Cumby VFD toned.

Sulphur Springs FD responding.

Eight different departments have responded at this time.

Nine departments responded to this according to our county. As of 5:56 pm, all fire units are clear from the scene. Our continued prayers for the Wallace family.
