All she did was let her ONLY friend die in front of her eyes after voting for another round of games. She’s no hero, no protagonist, and definitely not a great actor. Mufasa : The Lion King Review
Mufasa was decent, but I can see how much is lost when you create realistic animals and miss out on the colorful, animated characters that kids truly love. Not one song was memorable, and it feels like these live-action remakes just aren’t capturing the magic we had as kids in my generation.

The story of Scar’s scar was compelling, and the reconnecting with someone special at the end did hit me emotionally. But honestly, I’m over all these musicals that exist just to drop a soundtrack album for extra cash.

If you’re considering taking your kids to see it, I wouldn’t. It’s a decent watch, but it’s missing the spark we all grew up with.
