Their combined talents have contributed animation and live production for television, gaming industry, and Internet. Peebles Productions is owned and operated by Jim Peebles, one of the most experienced animat
ors in the country. The company is based in Atlanta, Georgia, which has become one of the largest centers for television production and post-production in the country. That, along with new technologies, as opened new avenues for the delivery of media to consumers. It is our intention to build a new center that will provide the media for a growing industry that will include gaming, Television, Film, and Animation. Formed in 1996, Peebles Productions has created the most intuitive and technologically advanced performance interactive solutions to the education and entertainment industry in the Southeast. Over the past few years, Peebles Productions has evolved into a respected "One-Stop Shop" operation while continuing to develop eye-catching projects for print, digital, and interactive media. Formed from Mercury/Zeitgeist and Funny Farm Studios, both previously owned and operated by Jim Peebles, Peebles Productions has managed and produced over 100 televised productions and commercials as well as assisting in the management of many other successful productions. Jim's first studio, The Animators in Pittsburgh produced work for George Romero's CreepshowI-II which began Jim's work on larger scale productions. Recruited to head the animation division at Atlanta's Crawford Communications, Jim bought the animation department when it was spun off. As an animator, Jim worked on Animaniacs and Spiderman: The Animated Series and has had clients ranging from PBS to Turner Broadcasting(Cartoon Network). Jim has also been instrumental in developing new talent through teaching at prestigious colleges such as Savannah College of Art and Design. Peebles Productions is staffed with some of the best animators in the business and has the savvy to pull together international talent to best serve the specific needs of the project. Resources from Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, Giant Studios, Disney, and Colorland, LLC in China, can all be brought together for large-scale productions. The company is also establishing ties to India, South Korea, France and Canada. Through these contacts, Peebles Productions has development teams in place for any type of project you may bring to the table.
