It is with great excitement and anticipation that Mount Olive Baptist Church extends this Special Invitation to your church and Music Ministry to participate in our Music and Creative Arts Ministry Choir Workshop and Concert on Saturday September 30th, 2023. This year’s theme is: “Back in the House”. Our Workshop Clinician this year is Grammy, Dove and Stellar Award winner David Frazier; songwriter/psalmist for Hezekiah Walker, Yolanda Adams, Ricky Dillard and countless others.
You'll have an opportunity to sit and be taught about various aspects of music ministry such as: "8 tools to Tune up your Choir", "The Heart of a Praiser/Minstrel", and "Songwriting Basics." In addition, the Workshop Choir will be performing some of the music that made him one of the most sought after psalmist/songwriter of our day. This workshop will surely ignite a fire for God's music in your respective music ministry.
The Workshop Choir rehearsals will be held September 28th and 29th; the 29th being the dress rehearsal. Registration will be 6PM nightly. Rehearsals will be 7PM nightly.
The classes will take place Saturday, September 30th, 10AM - 2PM, followed by the workshop concert at 6PM – 9PM featuring Mistress of Ceremony, Singer/Songwriter, Pianist, on air host and show producer, Ronnette Harrison-Rollins (Praise104.1 FM Radio) with special guests Beverly Johnson & My Praise My Worship, recording artist Dan’Talisha Nicole, Comedienne Tanya Lewis and more.
To participate in this workshop and the choir/concert, the cost is $35 per person. The donation for those attending the concert only is $25 per person.
