There has been some question as to why the incident at Attitash was posted as Fell From a chair lift and not that the chair had fallen from the lift.
Our volunteers report on incidents as they are dispatched and how they come over the air. The try really hard to update when they can and they hear updates, but keep in mind we are all volunteers and do this through the day along with our other obligations.
Here is the initial dispatch of the incident and we hope it explains why it was posted the way it was. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to reach out.

Commercial Truck Driver Faces Charges After Reckless Driving Incident
WAKEFIELD, N.H. โ A commercial truck driver caught on video driving on the wrong side of the road has turned himself in following a State Police investigation into the dangerous incident.
On the evening of December 3, 2024, State Troopers from the Troop G Motor Carrier Enforcement Unit received a report of reckless driving on Route 16 in Wakefield. The report included video footage captured by an in-vehicle digital camera, showing a white 2014 Freightliner hauling a dumpster crossing a double solid yellow line into oncoming traffic to pass another vehicle.
An investigation identified the driver as Steven MacDonald, 66, of Pepperell, Massachusetts. Warrants were issued for MacDonald on charges of reckless driving, speeding, violating highway markings, and limitations on overtaking on the left.
MacDonald turned himself in to authorities on December 11, 2024. He was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Ossipee District Court on January 29, 2025, at 9 a.m.
The New Hampshire State Police remind all drivers, particularly commercial motor vehicle operators, of the critical importance of obeying traffic laws to ensure the safety of all motorists. Anyone with additional information about this or similar incidents is encouraged to contact Troop G at (603) 223-8778.
