Just before the clouds moved in, you could see the faintly with the naked eye. I have red green deficiency (Deuteranomaly), so I had to get Marci to show me what the pretty colors were (pre-photo)! 🤣
These are long exposure shots, so you're able to see the faint colors much better over time.

Next to the total eclipse, this is the coolest thing I've ever seen in the sky.

I never, in a million years, would've thought I would ever see any part of an in Eastern NC... but there it is.
Thanks to the most powerful geomagnetic storm in over 20 years.

While I'm not ready to ditch After Effects (just yet), I am having fun with Unreal Engine 5.4's Motion Design plugin!

Here is a short logo intro imagining what I could have used on the DVD we released for my brother's outfitters business (Big Daddy Outfitters) back in 2007. I made that one strictly in Premiere Pro and Photoshop.

I've been using Adobe creative software for many years, but I've tinkered with Davinci Resolve for the past couple of years.

Here is a project, using some of my Mini 3 Pro footage, edited in Resolve.

Some of the effects include:
- Color correction (which is tough since I have red-green deficiency)
- Surface tracking
- Camera tracking
- Point tracking
- 3D text renders w/lighting
- Magic mask for color correction
- Depth Map for masking
