To look forward, we must first revisit the past. Following the release of ‘No Pocus Without Hocus’ (2016), ‘Murky Red’ began work on their third album. Tragically, in late 2017, the band lost a long-time friend, collaborator, and engineer, a loss that deeply impacted the creative process.

In 2020, ‘Murky Red’ resurfaced with the release ‘No Woman’—a powerful protest song addressing the horrors of r**e, child molestation, and the injustice that too often allows offenders to re-enter society and repeat their crimes.

Now, in 2025, the band returns with new music, but first, we invite listeners to (re)discover this poignant anthem against injustice as it takes its rightful place on ‘Murky Red’s’ long-awaited third album, aptly titled ‘Long Time No See’ due out this summer.

Please be aware that the lyrics may be considered offensive by some.

Three years ago, the California-based progressive art-rock band Time Horizon made a triumphant return with their third highly acclaimed album, Power of Three. The first single and fan favorite, Living for a Better Day, featured a special guest appearance by legendary SAGA frontman Michael Sadler on vocals. The album also included renowned bassist Michael Manring, who lent his signature sound to Steve's Song a tribute to the band’s first original bassist, Steve Gourley. This not only pays homage to his time with the band but also his work with humanitarian relief and human rights for the poor and vulnerable. His untimely passing is portrayed by 10-cc angelic voices that wash the sonic colors behind a beautiful fretless bass taking the melody.

Power of Three showcases a collection of standout tracks, including, I Hear, I See, Time to Wonder Why, and the latest single, Digital Us. The album is available in multiple formats, including CD and vinyl.

Italian prog band Overture just released their second single “Bagliori” from the upcoming album A mezz’aria sul tempo, due out via Melodic Revolution Records later this year.

The Single is a reflection of the emotions its music evoked in us—a deeply personal text penned by our singer on March 14, 2020, just four days after the onset of pandemic confinement. It began as an expression of uncertainty and fear, yet found its conclusion intertwined with melodies infused with soul, written as the world slowly emerged from darkness. The song embodies a journey from turmoil to tranquility—a return to serenity after a harrowing period, much like a stormy sky that, in time, gives way to the radiant sun. It is a testament to the beauty, hope, and resilience of life, conveyed through the comforting words of reassurance to a little girl who was once so afraid.
