Today, students and their grandparents attended Trinity Prep’s annual Grandparents Day! Students and grandparents enjoyed a breakfast provided by TPO, followed by an assembly with various musical performances. On Valentine’s Day, Key Club delivered the roses from this year’s annual Rose Sale for the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida. This year, Key Club sold 900 roses, amassing more than $1200 in raised funds!

Last Friday was Trinity’s eighth annual Author Fest. This year’s roster had 20 Young Adult and Middle Grade authors, including people like James Ponti, NYTimes bestselling children’s author, and keynote speaker Tiffany D. Jackson, NYTimes bestselling YA author. Students and the public alike had the opportunity to attend meet and greets, book signings, and back to back book panels. 📸 creds: Andrew Edwards

In order from left to right, Jeffrey Wang signed to Swarthmore College for Soccer, Nico Santiago to Georgetown University for Diving, Morgan Cox to Emory University for Cross Country as well as Track and Field, and Sergio Azzollini to Rhodes College for Soccer. This week at Trinity Prep was FCD week, where two representatives from Freedom from Chemical Dependency came and had an assembly with middle schoolers on Tuesday and 10th graders on Friday. On Monday, the 7th graders participated in their annual Victorian Era Dickens Day Celebration! The day included a book reading by the head of school, games, a picnic style lunch, and “Ye olde street fair!”

Successful Spirit Week!
Day 1: Students (and teachers) dressed up as a squad with their friends!
Day 2: Anything but a backpack day! Highlights were a lawn mower, canoe, and a variety of scooters.
Day 3: Students faced off as soccer moms vs bbq dads!
Day 4: Blue and Gold Day, Lunch on the Lawn, and pep rally to close off the day before the game!

Saints take the homecoming game win against Trinity Christian with a final score of 35-0, with the announcement of the homecoming king and queen at halftime!

Last night was this year’s game day swap! The senior and junior boys left it all on the mat with their respective cheers, while the girls faced off on the football field with a final score of 39-12.

Three visiting authors this week at Trinity Prep! On Tuesday, Ryan Rivas from Burrow Press and Michael Wheaton of Autofocus Books worked with the Trinity Literary Society to plan for this year’s edition of the Skylight magazine. On Friday, students and teachers met visiting author Christine Parker and entered to win one of two signed copies of her new book, Flight 171.
