The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, in partnership with the AdventHealth West Florida Division hospitals, has officially proclaimed today as Wear Red Day to bring attention to women’s heart health and the signs and symptoms of heart disease in women. The proclamation, sponsored by Commissioner Chris Boles, was presented during the February 5 Board of County Commissioners meeting.

AdventHealth Celebration broke ground today on a new state-of-the-art patient tower, a significant milestone amid rapid population growth across Osceola and south Orange County. The eight-story tower will include 80 progressive care beds and three operating rooms. The tower will also include shell space to accommodate future growth, including an eventual ER expansion and room for new services. The new tower will bring the hospital’s bed count to 437.
