No new vlog this morning. Yesterday was busy as I worked on more chores of storage runs, thrift store runs, post office, and feeding the crew. Nothing was really different to be worth filming. We’ll be back on track again soon. For now, trying to fit in some rest amongst the chaos. Last night I found a nice tasty Valentines apple treat for us all to share from Publix. Was super tasty!

Today’s Vlog:

Rest, Recover, Reboot, Rethink, and Repeat

First day of transitioning as we start to regroup in preparation for our upcoming move back home to Maine. Return minivan rental. Wawa takeout for breakfast and lunch. Teddy does a tour of Orlando Southwest KOA. We end up upgrading to a Deluxe Cabin after I feel like Mark is struggling in the Primitive Cabin.

What a crazy few weeks it’s been! Two round trip drives to Texas and back to Florida to move our stuff out of Big Bend National Park. Now to rest, recover, reboot, rethink, and repeat (as much as necessary). In a little under two weeks, we begin our move back to Maine where we will set up our home base for at least awhile. We will continue to travel and explore all over, but Maine will be home. For now, however, going to enjoy soaking up some sun and enjoy loving on Florida.

On Saturday, we said goodbye to Big Bend National Park as well as goodbye to Mark’s career with the national park service. Yesterday, we started a new chapter together as a family towards full time bloggers/vloggers. This vlog is a new format that we will follow often where all three of us film bits and it’s all meshed together in one video, allowing viewers to see various perspectives. We are now moved out of Big Bend and en route to Florida. We were so exhausted by time we got settled in last night that we didn’t film here. We’re at a Hampton Inn in Fort Stockton, Texas. It’s okay, I’d give it a recommendation. It’s been such a long hard past 3.5 months and we still have a long hard road ahead, but we’re doing it as a family and choosing to have gratitude for the adventures we are experiencing along the journey. Today we will pick back up filming.

Life’s been a bit chaotic past few days between trekking back to Texas combined with the death of my father. I haven’t had opportunity to update all social media.
