Sharing for Bully Up Rescue

Looking for a foster for a dog friendly, 1.5lb yr old, 23lb mini pitty mix girl. Heartworm negative, will be spayed today, up to date on vaccines and currently in a rural part of GA. Cat test pending (today). Transport scheduled for 2/18. Who can help foster? We would also consider a foster to adopt 🩵

Why yes! I do make special pet bandana collars!

However, this one is VERY DRY special as it marks the “officialness” of becoming a foster fur-mommy!

Sweet Sunshine aka Sunnie was found on the side of the road by a volunteer for a local rescue and she was inundated with problems. Infections, obstruction of the bowels, and significantly under weight.

She pulled through beautifully with the quick care of the volunteer, Bully Up Rescue and her temporary foster.

I have worked with Bully Up in the past selling handmade dog soaps and donating profits to the rescue in an event called Bubbles for Bullies and I’ve always wanted to foster, but no pup ever lined up perfectly. They need to be the only pet in the home, no kids, no cats…

Fast forward to now. Sunnie is a lover of kids, adults, other dogs and LOVES kitties. Something about her and her story just called to me so I filled out an application to be a foster.

The only thing delaying us from getting her is a vet check up to make sure she’s in good enough shape to come home and our youngest pups’ neuter appointment which is on Monday. Once he heals up, we will be bringing Sunnie home to start fattening her up and getting her socialized and teach her how to be the best girl so we can get her to her furever home!!!

If you have space in your heart and home to foster, they are looking for placement for 2 babies currently. Billy Up covers the cost of fostering 😍😍

I’ve done a lot of creating today and have a bit more to make and THEN I still have a couple hours for photographing and content creating.

It’s a ton of work running a small business but I know it’ll be worth it!

After some real DING-DONG behavior, I have discovered how to sew in a straight line 😂😂😂😂

Ya win some ya lose some.

Either way. I’m now going to practice turning the fabric via hard angles and curves!

Pray for me because I struggled HARD yesterday. However, if I knew yesterday, what I know today. It may not have been quite as bad!

I did a thing!!!!!

This has MANY MANY MANY MANY flaws. However, the best way for ME to learn, is to just go for it and see what happens. It helps me to know where I went wrong and how to adjust it. Learning to sew is not super easy, but I was shocked at how fun it was.

So here is my first coffin wallet. I know what I’ve done wrong and how to make it better. Now I just need to learn how to sew in a STRAIGHT line and get better at turning and keeping the stitching in line.

By the way….printed that design myself 😉😍
