Christmas Blessing #2 Recap:
Our Christmas Blessing took us to Plumtree Creek/Newland, NC on Friday. Betsy Ross & family were nominated by Erica McKinney. Betsy and her family have suffered devastating loss of life since Hurricane Helene. Betsy's grandfather and father-in-law passed in the landslide. A few weeks later Betsy lost her dad to sickness and on December 7th Betsy said goodbye to the husband of her youth (they had been together since they were children) suffering from two massive strokes within two weeks of each other. Betsy has always been a stay-at-home mama, with 4 children ages 4-14. She and Robert were in the process of receiving a Habitat for Humanity House when all of this happened. That process continues. At present, Betsy and her children live with her mother, and every morning wakes up to the sight of where the landslide took place and the brokenness of her heart for all the family that are no longer here.

Thank you to everyone who made this Christmas Blessing possible. We could not have done this without the obedience of our listeners to the heart of God to give!!!

2024 Christmas Blessing Recap:
Wednesday, we had the privilege of traveling to Burnsville, NC, to give our first Christmas Blessing to Ricky and Suzy Hilliard, who were nominated by Gretchen Banks.
Ricky & Suzy Hilliard lost their home when Hurricane Helene swept through Western North Carolina. They had the clothes on their banks. Not only did they lose their home of 51 years but Suzy's 92-year-old mother narrowly escaped her home of 70 years as it was swept away. She too, escaped with the clothes on her back. Suzy got her mama's insulin as they all left the home to watch it go down the river. They lost everything except their lives. They are resilient and plan to rebuild! Ricky & Suzy are now in a relative's mobile home until they can rebuild. Did they have flood insurance? No, who would? Who would have ever expected this tragic hurricane? Where we see impossible we have a God who knows and with whom all things are possible in Christ Jesus!!!

It was a blessing to take a WBFJ Christmas Blessing to Burnsville, NC this year!!!!

Thank you to everyone who gave money, and played Plinko making this WBFJ Christmas Blessing a blessing to the Hilliard family!!!

Faithful...

Wow. Where do I even begin? Today marks 21 years since I married my best friend, and what an incredible journey it has been. To be honest, this past year has been one of the hardest of my life. From my heart procedure earlier this year, to broken relationships, to other challenges, to Adrienne’s total hip replacement, and now my recovery from knee replacement surgery—it’s been nonstop. The mental, emotional, and spiritual strain has been overwhelming at times.

Yet, even in the midst of all these struggles, there are always reasons to be grateful—things that shine brighter than the hardships. First and foremost, the beautiful truth that Jesus is our strength and our everything. And Adrienne, you are one of those bright spots that always outweigh the negatives.

You’ve been my rock—especially during the moments I felt like I couldn’t go on. Times when I wanted to give up on music, you reminded me that God is not done with me yet. You’ve stood by me, encouraged me, and loved me even when I didn’t deserve it. I cannot begin to express how much you mean to me, how much I love you, and how deeply grateful I am for you.

Through it all, we have so much to be thankful for, and I’m excited for what 2025 holds. I know the Lord has great things in store for us. Adrienne, I love you more than words can say. Here’s to the next chapter of our journey together.
