"Good Story! - I read this book to my 7 year old daughter and we both enjoyed it. We also did the word problems at the end of the book, which are a definitely above her current 2nd grade math skills, but it was fun to tell her how I would work through them.
I was a I bit concerned that the story wouldn’t be terribly interesting and focus too much on the math at the expense of the story, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually quite engaging and we were both excited to find out the solution to the mystery!
I liked the diversity of the characters and the stylized drawings inside the book. I wish they used the same artist for the cover.

Quote from my daughter: “My favorite part was the math at the end. I also like just reading it because I really love books and stuff. I really want to read more in this series!”"
