Hey hey! At 12:30 PM today we air our 3rd episode of Legalization of Recreational Ma*****na in Minnesota!

Today we discuss the health risks associated with the use of recreational ma*****na as we talk with medical professionals: Dr. Frank Bures, Nurse Donna Kamann and Kelsey Martin.

Doctor Bures is a Dermatologist with the Mayo Clinic Health System-La Crosse and a colomnist giving medical advice in several local newspapers for 42 years.

Donna Kamann works as a family nurse practioner and medical herbalist at the Tincture of Thyme Healthcare Clinic in our very own Winona, MN.

Kelsey Martin works as both a licensed Clinical Social Worker, but as a licensed Alcohol & Drug counselor for the Winona Health's Behavior Health Team.

On August 1st, 2023, Minnesota became the 23rd state in the United States to legalize the recreational use of cannabis.

Please join us to celebrate the release of Greg Brown’s Ring Around the Moon: A Songbook. The collection of writings, drawings, and photographs accompany the lyrics and sheet music to many of Greg’s classic songs.

His seasoned songwriting, storytelling, and music are deeply rooted in the place he was born in rural Iowa. For many years he moved audiences with warmth, humor, a thundering voice and his unpretentious musical vision.

Four book events will feature Greg reading from the book, telling stories, taking questions from the audience and playing a couple songs.

May 2 – - Minneapolis, MN

May 3 – - Iowa City, IA

The book’s official release is on April 30th through Ramshackle Press.
