The Church offers a glimmer of hope amidst unimaginable suffering in DRC’s Goma: One could write endlessly about the horrors I witnessed this week in Goma, Eastern DRC. The streets, once filled with life, bore the marks of conflict—bodies being cleared away, bullet casings scattered, and the weight of immense human loss pressing down on a city of two million people. More than 3,000 lives have been lost. Women are r***d constantly, no police force in place and prison breaks common place. Children, many orphaned, navigate a world that has turned cruel overnight. The darkness o

Austrian evangelical leader calls for unity amid political deadlock: 'counteract society’s polarization': A political stalemate in Austria’s coalition negotiations following last year’s national election reflects, to some extent, the polarization of society, where compromise has been devalued. However, Christians are called to be peacemakers in such socio-political scenarios, according to a group representing evangelicals in the country.
That is the viewpoint of Oliver Stozek, General Secretary of the Österreichische Evangelische Allianz (Austria Evangelical Alliance), publishing a public comment o

What the (Hilton) National Prayer Breakfast 2025 taught me: The US National Prayer Breakfast is a tradition in Washington, D.C. the first Thursday of every year. This year participants from all over the world were encouraged by the call for a revival of religious fervor. It is good and right to pray for our leaders and this opinion provide sound biblical guidance.

Meet Amany - an 18-year-old Coptic Christian student with a bright future. One June morning, she left for her final exam, promising her family she’d return that afternoon. She never made it home.

For two years, she had been secretly targeted through WhatsApp and Instagram by an organized network at her school. What seemed like innocent friendship was actually a calculated plan to isolate her from her loved ones.

Today, Amany’s family still waits for her return - one of hundreds of similar heartbreaking stories. Between 2011-2014 alone, over 550 young Coptic women disappeared under similar circumstances.

This isn’t just about numbers - it’s about daughters, sisters, and friends whose lives are forever changed. Each story represents a family torn apart and a community living in fear.

Share to raise awareness. Every voice matters.
