Inside the large touret window is where I just spent a magical week on an art retreat in Scotland. My room was called the Maitland and is connected to the Laird's room with an elegant Jack and Jill bathroom. This room is likely where the Lady of the castle (or mistress!) lived.

For years I've been paving a path into the unknown as a special needs mom.
