🌱 CALLING ALL FARMS, MAKERS, ARTISANS & FOOD TRUCK FRIENDS! 🌱
We’re exploring a tentative April event and want to hear from YOU!
The Frederick County Homesteaders Spring Farm Hop is shaping up to be a one-day, family-friendly celebration of local agriculture—bringing Frederick County, Virginia farms and producers together in one convenient location for a vibrant community “hop” instead of a traditional crawl.
This event will:
✨ Serve as a preview for the 2026 Frederick County Farm Crawls
✨ Give the community a chance to meet farms ahead of time and plan future crawl days
✨ Create an accessible experience for families with young children, those with mobility limitations, and anyone unable to travel farm-to-farm
Attendees will be able to:
🐓 Meet farmers and animals
🛍 Shop directly from farms, makers, and artisans
🌮 Enjoy food trucks, live music, and family activities
🌱 Participate in animal & plant swaps
🪵 Watch live demos (woodturning, soap making, butchering, and more)
🎓 Connect with ag nonprofits like 4-H, FFA, and local organizations
Most importantly, the Spring Farm Hop is about connecting our local community directly with Frederick County’s farming families—building relationships, supporting agriculture in the Valley, and celebrating the skills that sustain us.
