Lane Closures with One-Way Traffic Control on RM 3237

TxDOT is scheduled to pave widened areas and perform pavement repair on existing right-of-way on RM 3237 at Flite Acres Road and at Rogers Road during day-time operations. RM 3237 in these locations will be reduced to one lane with one-way traffic control in place beginning Monday, January 27 at 9 am through Friday afternoon, January 31 at 3 pm. The lane closures will alternate between the north and side sides of the roadway at Flite Acres Road (paving and pavement repair), on the north side of Rogers Road (paving and pavement repair) and on the south side of Rogers Road (pavement repair only) as work progresses. A pilot car will maintain traffic flow in the open lane. Access to all driveways within the work zones associated with these lane closures will be maintained. Work is contingent upon weather conditions. Travelers are asked to drive with caution and watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the work areas. Refer to the attached map showing the location of the lane closures and one-way traffic control.

We’re excited to let y’all know about our revamped G-317 course. (This is the basic CERT training.)

Classes will be offered to the public for drop-in attendance allowing us to bring specialized training sessions in emergency preparedness to the community.

That means you can attend one class or two or however many interest you. And if you want to get certified, you just attend the entire course and graduate. Easy-peasy!
