The Wimberley Valley celebrated Independence Day with the annual 4th of July Parade this morning, organized by the . The event included local first responders, city staff and officials, businesses and organizations — among others. Stay tuned for more on the event in the July 13 edition of The Wimberley View.
At the Wimberley City Council meeting on June 15, a member of the public made inappropriate contact with one of our staff members, Managing Editor Madi Telschow. No physical harm occurred, and no charges have been filed.

Hi Y'all - we have some unfortunate news.
Swimming at Jacob's Well remains canceled for the foreseeable future. At this time, water levels and spring flow are still too low to safely allow swimming. Jacob's Well Natural Area is still open to the public for hiking and viewing the spring, however, no water access will be permitted.
We will keep y'all updated if conditions change.
