Plastic Free July!

Stop buying toilet paper and paper towels wrapped in plastic! There are lots of great options available online for paper products that come wrapped in paper. Many are made from bamboo, which is a more sustainable option than products made from trees. Sadly, few plastic-free options are available in traditional retail stores. In the meantime, check out online options.

Lululemon Bags (and all the other plastic bags that retailers give out.

We all know that single use plastic bags are no good, but these “reusable” bags are a big problem too. Yes, I do keep one or two ,or bags from other big retailers, at home to reuse. But once you have a couple, the others are pure plastic waste. If these retailers used recyclable paper for their bags there would be less plastic and less plastic waste in the world.

Have you noticed that all plants now seem to be sold in plastic? Why can't we get them in biodegradable "peat pots" that you can plant right in the ground? Wouldn't it be great if and made their garden centers plastic free?
