Here's a pic of my seventies vintage Neumann U-87, I just got it back a few days ago, the last time I used it about a month or two ago it was having problems and I've owned this mic for over 30 years and it never whimpered not even once so it was time to find a qualified tech to work on it, I found Dan Zellman of Zelltec in NYC, he is highly qualified and even stocks some new old stock Neumann parts, he recapped the board for me and then we sent it to Peluso Mics in Virginia ( Peluso does Mic restoration and also has a line of High Quality Mic's of his own ) this is where it got new elements installed on the capsule, which according to Mr. Peluso makes it a Brand New Vintage Mic, the Mic always sounded Good but now it Sounds even better than ever, the High End is Bright and Clear as if it were a Tube Mic, defiantly improved, I'm a Very Happy Camper, because of the age and condition Mr. Peluso valued it at $5000.00, and Mr. Zellman valued it at $6000.00, The repairs cost me $700.00, I would let it go for $5000.00 or $4500.00 to a friend, but I'm in no hurry, I defiantly want to use it some more

What a Dilema, Gotta move soon, cleaning out the office, as you can see I have a few hundred ADAT tapes and don’t know what to do with them, can’t take them with me, this is my clients intellectual material, I hate like hell to just trash them, can anybody use them, let me know soon

To all my FaceBook Friends and especially my TuneRoom Clients I am Very Heart Sick and Sorry to announce, TuneRoomStudios will be closing it's doors the end of May, I've Failed You all and myself and I am Sorry, but I will be fully operational till end of May and hope to do as much as I possibly can until then, the Studio Phone is gone but you can reach me on my Cell 302-290-4757 if you want to get in to do some recording or need to pick up your files or whatever give me a call, so it's gonna be my two elderly cats and me and a Studio full of Recording Gear looking for a place to start over, and at 72 years old, all alone in the world and on a fixed income of under $950.00 a month the prospects do not look good, I don't know what I'm gonna do at this point, I'm open to suggestions, give me a call
But once again I am just sick and heartbroken to have to do this and I apologize, and it's been my honor and pleasure to have served you, Thank You and God Bless !!! R.B.

The Title Track, we had Lewis Lott in the Studio that nite, he did the Piano on the track, Lewis had Bop Daddy Wheeler with him to do some Bass on another track, we were stuggleing with the Vocal and took a break, Bop Daddy asked to have shot at it and we said sure, he got in the booth and absolutely killed it his first take, he's a Bad Man, Check him out, and it's appropriate I post it today, it's Bop Daddy's birthday. Happy "B Day" Booyyyeeee !!!

In the Night by Alex Lagowski, from way back in the mid 80's living out in HOLLYWOOD, Kevin Angeline was also out there and the three of us had a lot of real good times, Kevin was a good friend and Excellent Guitarist but suffered severe emotional problems, so bad that he tried to do himself in several times but didn't succeed until he was the 55th person to jump from the Delaware Memorial Bridge, this song isn't about Kevin but was inspired by him, we Demo'd it at a little 4 track joint down Venice Blvd., so check it out, it may very well be one of the first songs written and recorded on the subject of Mental Health

SOCCO'S Dream Machine, it will be on the soon to be released 2nd Socco CD, We've got together and decided to take it upon ourselves to release it, and it's about time, it's been in the Can for a while now, we are Players we don't know about these things but we're gonna try to create a Label and properly release this thing to the public, if all goes well maybe by late August or early September, if you liked the first Socco CD your gonna Love this one, It's Sooo Socco, not looking to make any money on this one, just trying to spread the word, Dog Gone, Dig Dat !!! Oh, and about my Dream Machine Video, I am not a Singer, I don't claim to be a Singer, I don't want to be a Singer, Yet I Love To Sing, it makes me Happy, Bop Daddy Wheeler originally did the Vocal to Dream Machine and he SMOKED IT in just ONE TAKE, and it will be his vocal you will hear on the Final Mix on the CD not mine and your gonna Love what he did with it, so don't mind me I'm just having Fun
