LaWann is an advocate and visionary leader who equips her clients with tools to strengthen their sense of self, reclaim their power, and unleash their full potential. She has helped a multitude of moms organize and prioritize what’s on their plate in order to make room for their personal dreams and goals. LaWann believes love is the greatest gift of all and she strives to do everything in love. Thrust into the unknown world of teenage motherhood and poverty, with life taking many twists and turns, depression soon engulfed her. At the brink of su***de, LaWann’s son appeared to her in a dream and said “Don’t go, Mommy. If she couldn’t live for herself then she had to live for her son. Her life was not over, she simply took a detour. She sought counseling, developed a mindset of success, and created a life plan. It was not easy, but LaWann refused to give up. She became determined to succeed. She remembered her identity, reclaimed her power, and rose above her situation to accomplish each and every goal set forth. Detailing her journey in her best-selling book “Rising Above Statistics: How To Overcome Obstacles and Achieve Success Against All Odds”, LaWann uses her story as a teen mom to inspire and help all women create their own unique life plan, no matter the circumstances. Years later, LaWann encountered another life defining moment, in which she found herself completely miserable. A wife, mom and woman who had reached every goal she set for herself, yet still she felt unfulfilled and unhappy. LaWann embarked on her own joy quest and personal development journey. Through this process, LaWann rediscovered her identity, dreams and goals and made herself a priority in life. So much so that when she was passed up for a well deserved promotion instead of being discouraged, LaWann did the work and launched her business. She activated her vision, put her goals into action and started creating her own legacy. LaWann now speaks to and trains groups of individuals on reflective self-discovery, personal development, and productivity. She believes lives are transformed through storytelling and we become portals of empowerment when we share our stories. LaWann’s messages are built upon hope, encouragement, and positivity. LaWann has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in the Administration of Justice, with a concentration in Leadership & Administration from Wilmington University. Likewise, she is a Certified Domestic Violence Specialist with over 10 years of experience in client management and advocacy.

I am a wife, mom, and child of God. I love living each day to the fullest. I am a conqueror, overcomer, and will forever be victorious. I’ve faced several struggles in my life which have fueled my passion to help you live your best life.

Right now, I bet you are handling multiple tasks while trying to read this. You want to know more, but yet you have so many other things going on. Some days you don’t know up from down or forwards from backwards. Time is something you have very little of and your energy is just about depleted.

You work, take care of you family, and are doing pretty well in life. You reach the goals you set for yourself. You handle your business and somehow you find a way to get everything done. Well, at least that’s how it appears from the outside.

On the inside, you feel stuck, lost, and incomplete. You constantly wonder what happened to your life. You struggle to understand how you got to the place you are in today. Repeatedly you tell yourself,”there has to be more to life than this”. You don’t understand why you have all of this stuff, yet you still feel incomplete. You are confused, burnt out, and depleted. And honestly, you can’t figure what to do next.

But one thing you do know is you tired of living like this and are ready for some changes to happen in your life.

I bet, in spite of your successes, life has thrown you some curve balls and you’ve encountered a few roadblocks, and feel you have lost your way. At one point in time, you had dreams and goals, but now you struggle to remember who you are and what you want. You go through the motions day-by-day simply existing instead of living, always searching for and wanting more. Yet no matter how much you get, it is never enough.

I am a wife, mother, and lover of life. We live in Wilmington, Delaware and at any given time you can find my kids filming YouTube videos or making TikToks, my young dogs running around while my senior dog rests, and various athletic equipment, slime, toys and paper scattered around my house.

Speaking and presenting at conferences, retreats, and trainings are my jam. I love hosting events as well as leading programs and services.

Plain and simple, I do this for you.

I want to see a nation of empowered individuals, especially working mothers, take back their power and show the world we can have it all. Just because life takes a detour, it doesn’t mean all hope is lost. I want to see women rise above their circumstances, and take their rightful place.
