Wishing you a joyful celebration of the Declaration of the Báb!

181 years ago, on the evening of May 22, 1844, in the city of Shíráz, a young merchant named Siyyid ‘Alí-Muḥammad declared that He was the Promised One, taking the title "the Báb", meaning the Gate.

He was the Promised One foretold in sacred scriptures, who came to prepare humanity for the coming of a greater Manifestation of God, Bahá’u’lláh.

Today, Bahá’ís all around the world gather to remember and celebrate this event.

Today, we celebrate the 9th Day of Ridván,
the day when Bahá’u’lláh’s family joined Him in the Garden of Ridván.

In the spirit of this day, I am sharing a small labour of love, a gift for families -
a family reflection booklet inspired by the Universal House of Justice message 19th March 2025.

This booklet is designed to assist in creating a new pattern of family life.
It includes selected excerpts from the message and reflection questions to guide family consultation.

Some inspiration on Baha'i inspired Rock art that can be used as decorations, gifts or as a community building activity.

Similar to the previous post on Clay Art, rock art is also another wonderful way to express ourselves creatively. You might find rocks are more accessible than air dried clay as well as more durable.
