WBBZ-TV 5, Your Hometown MeTV Station, celebrated WNY's Polonia Pride this weekend at the General Pulaski Association Fall Festival in Williamsville.

On Sunday, GM Chris Musial and "Polka Buzz" host Ron Dombrowski participated in the annual Parade - this year held on Main Street in Amherst. Hundreds lined the parade route cheering entrants that included Polish organizations, dancers, businesses and dignitaries.

On Saturday, over 150 people visited a damp and chilly Island Park for a special FREE "Polka Buzz" concert. The shows featured the Eddie Forman Orchestra from Massachusetts, along with authentic Polish dancers in from Chicago. Pulaski Association President Joe Mikolaj welcomed WNY VIP's to kick off the event with proclamations and presentations.

Our WBBZ TV team recorded these shows which will start airing November 23rd on Channel 67 / Cable 5.

Thanks to Marty Biniasz and the Buffalo Broadcasting community for recognizing the 10th Anniversary of our weekly "Polka Buzz" program! Sto'Lat!

🎉 Happy 10th Anniversary to WBBZ-TV's Polka Buzz! 🎉 - Since its very first taping on October 8, 2015, at the Gratwick Fire Company Hall in North Tonawanda, Polka Buzz has grown into a local television tradition—now boasting more than 425 episodes!

WBBZ-TV brought this one-of-a-kind dance party to life, hosted by Polish-American broadcaster and longtime radio host Ron Dombrowski, and created through the vision of General Manager Chris Musial and former Sales Manager Angelo Cicatello. For many years, the program called Pott's Banquet Hall in Cheektowaga its broadcast home, before WBBZ took the show on the road to various churches, Polish clubs, Batavia Downs, VFW and American Legion Halls.

"Thanks to host Ron Dombrowski for his passion for Polka music, all the musicians from Buffalo and beyond, the venue promoters, our talented WBBZ-TV Team," said WBBZ's John Di Sciullo. "And a special thank you to the great polka fans of Western New York and Southern Ontario who join us for our monthly, in person recording sessions and those who watch on television Sundays at 11:30am and 7pm!"
