The next release on TAH Records, in collaboration with Jib Machine Records, is Rush For Cover, a tribute album to the band RUSH!
Starting this Friday, Mar 15, preorders for the vinyl LP or digital download will be available at:
https://rushforcover.com/
(You can also sign up for the email list there).

The album includes covers and interpretations from Gwazi (of JIB Machine), Mayhem Lettuce, The Turtle Project, Movers Double Eagle (of TAH Records), Kyla Tilley, Dichroma (of Toronto), Peter Hackett (Cult Of Wedge), and Mike Sands.

Accompanying the preorder will be a charity auction of Rush and Rush For Cover related items. 100% of the proceeds for these auctions will go to cancer research funds, including the Jimmy V Foundation, the Glioblastoma Foundation, and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

We are looking for donations to add to one of the auction lots -- the Knick Knack Mystery Pack -- so please contact us if you have any donations ([email protected]).

DJ Banana Peel & Ghais Guevara - BlackBolshevik Chopped & Peeled on recycled purple marble vinyl.
This remixed album was originally a birthday gift from the DJ to the MC, with a style that is an ode to the late & great DJ Screw. The remix makes what was already a heavy & powerful release, hit even harder and gives each track another dimension for your aural intake.
The record was pressed at Sooper Dooper and mastered for vinyl by Cauliflower Audio. The record ships on Fri, March 1 and is available here for preorder (and for listening):

After being taken out by a fractured ankle for over a month, we will finally be back at the Toano Open Air Market on Sat, Nov 12, with the TAH Records stand. We will have a lot of new records!

The very next day, Sun, Nov 13, we will also have a pop-up record stand at our yard sale in Williamsburg, so stay tuned for that!

TAH Records will be back at the Toano Open Air Market on Sat, Oct 1, with a lot of new records. These include the releases in the photo, with The Scorpios (representing Sudan), Nilotika Cultural Ensemble (from Uganda), a compilation of 70s singles from the Light & Sound label (from Somalia), and a compilation of 70s releases of Black Savage (from Kenya). These are all incredible releases you won’t find anywhere else in VA so come out and check ‘em out!
