Sorry if I'm not posting some of the newspaper articles just found this one. Thankful for Wendy Cheyenne Kendrick for getting them written for the chapters numerous events. This is one of our ongoing Food for America programs that is promoting pork. We have served pork burgers at the senior night football game and at the veterans day assembly. Members also spoke to wilburton 6th graders. This photo is at Roys when we handed out pork fajita samples. Hopefully our hard work will be noticed on the application and rewarded with a grant for our chapter!

Congrats to Larissa and Darrah on their success at the American Farmers & Ranchers speech contest this past Tuesday. Placing 2nd allows them to compete at the state level next month! Good Luck girls!

It's not too late!! All Wilburton FFA members are still selling Blue & Gold sausage, bacon, and chicken. Orders will be in around October 8th. Please help support our chapter in our most important fundraiser of the year.

Wilburton FFA continued its success the second half of OYE. Bryce was in the top 5 of teh Senior Showmanship! Kristyn Adams and Lauryn Rader showed their market lambs and Barrows. Kristyn had ninth place with her Shropshire wether. Congrats Bryce, Kristyn and Lauryn.

Wilburton FFA made a great showing at the first round of OYE! All four pigs made the big ring, Cody placed fifth with his commercial gilt and was 3 away from making the sale, and Bryce had a 2nd place commercial gilt and was also the 42nd gilt in the sale! A big congrats to Bryce, Cody and Chet!!!
