❄️ 5 Tire Facts You NEED To Know Going Into Winter ❄️

1️⃣ Cold weather drops tire pressure.
For every 10°F drop, you lose about 1 PSI — low pressure kills traction and eats tires fast.

2️⃣ Summer tires get HARD in the cold.
Below 45°F, they lose grip. Winter/all-season tires stay softer and safer.

3️⃣ Tread depth matters more than you think.
Under 4/32” = major traction loss.
Under 2/32” = legally bald (and dangerous).

4️⃣ Cold exposes hidden problems.
Sidewall cracks, dry rot, bead leaks, and weak patches show up fast once temps fall.

5️⃣ Good winter tires can cut stopping distance by 30%.
Proper tread + correct PSI = better control, safer driving.
