Music Together of Wichita

Music Together of Wichita Music Together is a music and movement program for ages 5 and under with an adult who loves them.

Music Together is an incredible time to spend with your child while learning about the immense benefits of early childhood music education. Focus is put upon teaching parents to not just passively listen to music but to be engaged in music making with their child. This kind of experience is disappearing in our culture and is key to developing your child's musical IQ. Come and sing folksongs, finge

rplays, and original songs while making music with egg shakers, sticks, parachutes, drums and more. Give your child the gift of music that will bring a lifetime of enjoyment and educational benefits.

Originally composed in 1986 and titled “Solstice Song,” Ken Guilmartin rearranged and retitled the song "May All Children," in memory of the events of September 11, 2001. In 2002, the song was included in the Music Together Sticks Song Collection. Award-winning children's musician Laurie Berkner later recorded her own version of “May All Children” in honor of the International Day of Peace on September 21.
