I heard the news earlier this week but held off saying anything until it had been officially released.

Long time KWCH storm chaser Ed O'Neal passed away Sunday.

Before Ed started chasing for us, he sent us a LOT of storm shots of the weather around Dodge City. His reports were so helpful and reliable that we eventually asked if he'd like to join the chase team! He was a welcome addition in helping us cover the weather around Dodge City but most importantly, he was a great person to work with.

Thinking and praying for Ed's family.

While the state is still quite dry, major improvements have been seen in recent days.

Our weather is in a "rinse and repeat" pattern, with more isolated storm chances today and Tuesday.
