In 2022 a small group of local artists came together and formed the collective now known as The Cookie Store. It was started in a basement; friendships and bonds were built and we became a family more than anything else. Over time the family has grown in ways we could've never predicted, we now have 30+ artists that have attributed to the success of TCS. We take the fact that all these artists trust us with their careers very seriously. With that being said the safety and comfortability of our artists is a top concern. Something TCS has always done is speak up for victims of abuse or those suffering of social injustice. We are saddened and receive the fact that, that might not be everybody's experience of us, and for that we apologize. We never claimed to know what we were doing, we are human and make mistakes but we are actively working on new measures to make sure that everybody in TCS is respected and has a voice.

To those who are still here with us in this time, your patience with us doesn't go unnoticed and we beg you to understand that we are learning the proper channels as we go. We're currently building an administration team, seeing as up to this point the management, planning, negotiating, outreach and much more has been left to the responsibility of mainly two people- majority of businesses who manage 30+ people typically make a decent salary, whereas we do this solely for the love of our music community scene. No one on The Cookie Store roster can say they've ever paid to record, perform, or create anything we provided the resources for.

From here on, it is our mission to grow as a business and a collective and to continue to provide safe spaces for artists to grow. The responsibility to do that will be shared amongst admins- a group of hand-picked individuals who have been vital TCS's foundation - to better support the members that we manage.

We would like to reassure that this is a safe space for anyone to have a voice, and openly receive feedback because we are constantly striving to be better.
