Juarez Bakery Inc on 📍N Waco in Wichita, KS is what’s for breakfast today!!!

Pan Dulce was recommended by a good friend and Juarez Bakery is definitely the place to go. Loaded with a wonderfully rainbowed variety of baked goods all throughout the bakery. You can find marranitos, conchas, empanadas, and many more! I recommend to get them at their freshest, first thing in the morning. Hurry, these delicious treats go quickly!!!

Today I stopped by Laurie's Kitchen located in the small Kansas town of Mulvane. Let me just say today was perfect day with delicious food and the comforting small town vibes.
I went with Jess’s favorite which was a bacon cheeseburger topped with fried egg along with fries a loaded potato soup. The burger🔥 was one of the best I’ve had in a Good minute! Everyone there was super friendly and made sure I was taken care of.

📍Antojitos Guanamex 1425 E Central Ave

Mmm…What’s for Lunch?!!
Yesterday was the very first time ever having pupusas and they were delish! Everyone at Antojitos Guanamex was super kind and very friendly explaining everything to me. Thank you for the scrumptious food. I definitely recommend Antojitos Guanamex! 🫓

• I went with Revueltas Pupusas: Chicharron con Queso Frijoles (Pork w/ Cheese and Beans). Side of beans, rice, pickled cabbage, and a sauce that might have singed my lips.🔥🔥🔥

MMMmmm…What’s for lunch?!!

TORTAS from Palacana hits deliciously different! I finally made my way to Tropicana… and now the name has changed! But don’t let that deter you. Food was scrumptious and I’m all about Wichita having more shops like this!

With the support of friends and peers, I’m finally taking that first step on that foodie journey.
If you know me, I have what you call “Foodrette’s Syndrome”. I have this tendency to blurt out food stuff on the regular. So much that my friends and peers are hungry for lunch before they’ve finished breakfast. But let’s talk about what’s important.

Connections with people are the most important things in life. Food and love is something that bonds all of us. The best “ice breaker” IMO is food. Whether it be a first date, job interview, or first impression of any sort, ask “What something you’ve had recently that was delicious?” or “What’s for lunch?”.
I promise that will connect to you own personal journey of friendship and food.
