The No. 9 ranked UW-Whitewater women’s basketball team defeated Knox College at home over the weekend, 91-49.

Senior guard Kacie Carollo led all scorers with 23 points on 7 for 12 shooting and 4 for 6 behind the arc, while also putting up 8 rebounds, 6 assists, a block and a steal in the win.

“I thought overall, we played super hard,” Carollo said. “This was a game where we needed to focus on our growth and our improvement, especially after having five straight days of practice.”

Women’s basketball returns to Kachel Gymnasium this Wednesday, Dec. 11, to take on the Wheaton College Thunder at 5:30 p.m.
