One year ago I took a leap.

I've shared this with many of my couples but when I decided to start working in the video world I was afraid that I would lose the joy that came with creating videos as a hobby.

What if I jumped head first into wedding videography and found out this wasn't something I enjoyed doing week after week? Also, how on earth does one replace a full time income with what at the time was a hobby? With a wife and kiddo relying on me (but majorly motivating me) this was no small feat. And the obvious question, "hey is this even what l'm supposed to be doing with my life?" flooded my mind often.

Well, after many conversations, much prayer, and a lottttt of work- I made the leap: Full. Time.
Wedding. Videographer. Sounded weird to think of myself as that at the time.

Flash forward a year later and I'm happy to report that I have GAINED joy for what I do, God has blessed my business beyond what I though possible in a year, and I am so grateful to have made that decision. I have no clue what next year is going to look like, but if it's anything like this one has been, I can't wait! To God be the glory. Thank you all for being a part of my journey. - Devon
