To say I was floored would be putting it mildly. I rushed to convince her not to do it!

MY DAUGHTER'S ROOMMATES TURNED HER LIFE INTO HELL — I STEPPED IN TO BRING THEM BACK TO EARTH.

I had decided to rent my late mom's home when my daughter, Abby, asked if it could be leased to her and her four friends.

Prior to moving in, she and her friends, Dani and Ella, bought toilet paper, towels, dish detergent, and laundry detergent. The girls brought most of the stuff they needed, like a small dining table, dishes, and glasses. I gave them a couch, silverware, cookware, and food storage containers.

The other two roommates brought nothing but their boyfriends. That's when they started acting like they OWNED the place. Once, Abby called me in despair:

AFTER MY MOM DIED, A STRANGER BROUGHT ME DIRTY WEIRD OLD BOX — I WENT AS WHITE AS GHOST WHEN I OPENED IT.

That day, I was at home reflecting on how cruelly my life had turned. My mom had died — those were truly my darkest days. I just got married and found out that during the wedding, my MIL made some snide comments insinuating that my mother was not dressy enough for the wedding and even said that she looked UGLY.

God... My mother is quite a shy woman, so she didn't say much, but offered a half-hearted compliment about my MIL's dress. MIL is very vain and was obsessed with her appearance and coral dress. My mother was wearing a plain gray dress as she didn't like pomposity, and everyone else thought that she looked lovely. My partner and I also thought she looked great.

I worked so hard for my graduation day and was so excited to share this special moment with my parents. But during the ceremony, I kept glancing around, trying to spot them, with no luck. When the ceremony finally ended, I realized they weren’t there. I immediately checked my phone.

MY DATE TRICKED ME INTO BABYSITTING HIS KIDS WHILE HE WENT OUT WITH ANOTHER WOMAN – HE'LL NEVER FORGET MY EPIC PAYBACK

So, I started dating this guy, Mike. We met through some mutual friends and hit it off right away. He's super charming, sweet, and seemed really into me. After a few dates, he invited me over to his place to "bond" with his kids. He made it sound so special, like he was letting me into a significant part of his life.

Mike's got two kids, Lily (5) and Ben (7). When I arrived at his place, he had the table set up for this cute little dinner, and everything looked perfect.

MY HUSBAND LEFT ME AND THE KIDS HUNGRY BECAUSE HIS DAD BELIEVES 'IT'S WOMAN'S JOB TO COOK' – THEY BOTH LEARNT THEIR LESSON

My husband comes from this super traditional family. His mom's a SAHM, and his dad was the sole provider. But our family is COMPLETELY opposite: we both work and have our duties at home, and my FIL just HATES it. He hates that I work and that my husband helps out at home.

So, my in-laws are staying with us for two weeks. Normally, I make breakfast, we all eat lunch out, and my husband makes dinner. It's our routine, and it works.

Yesterday, I got home from work, exhausted and STARVING. I said quick hellos and went for a pre-dinner shower. When I came back down, I expected dinner to be ready. But there was NOTHING. I WAS KICKED OUT FROM MY GRANDDAUGHTER'S PROM — AN AMBULANCE TOOK ME AWAY WHEN I FOUND OUT WHY.

My little Liza is my joy. With poor eyesight and shaky hands, I stayed up nights sewing her a unique prom dress. But when I finally showed it to her, she scoffed and said she wanted a designer one... It broke my heart. But it's her choice, right?

In the end, I just wanted to see her happy. So, I arranged with the school that I could go to her prom. I wouldn't have gotten in her way — I just wanted to catch a glimpse of my Liza dancing! But when I got to the school, the security guard wouldn't let me in.

I KICKED MY GRANDPARENTS, WHO RAISED ME, OUT FROM MY GRADUATION AFTER I FOUND OUT THE TRUTH.

My grandparents on my mother's side took me in when my mom passed away in a car accident, and my father abandoned me. I was just two years old at the time, and they became my only family.

They cared for me and were willing to do anything for me. Recently, I graduated from high school. Thanks to my grandparents, I had the opportunity to get into a good college, one of the best in the state. I couldn't wait for them to see me on stage after I completed my degree. However, on the day of graduation, everything changed.

When my grandparents arrived and took their seats in the hall, I walked up to them and told them to leave. They were, of course, shocked, but I said it loudly enough that other guests heard, so they had no choice but to go. My grandmother started crying, and it was bitter for me to see, but she ⬇️

WE CAME HOME FROM VACATION TO FIND A HUGE HOLE DUG IN OUR BACKYARD — I WAS SHOCKED TO LEARN WHO DID IT AND HIS REASON.

So, we came back from our vacation a bit earlier than planned because my wife got sick during our trip to the ocean, and we decided to head home a few days early.

The first thing I did when we got home was to check the backyard to make sure everything was okay while we were gone. And OMG, I was shocked to find a huge hole dug in our yard!

I was about to call the cops, but then I noticed a shovel, a new bottle of water, and some other stuff left in the hole. I thought, “What if this person is digging at night to avoid being seen and knows we're supposed to be on vacation?” So, I decided to make it look like we hadn't come back yet and parked the car in the garage. My plan worked.

That night, I saw a silhouette jump over the fence and head towards the hole.

When the guy jumped into the hole, I came out of the house and approached. But I couldn’t believe who I saw in there, because it was ⬇️

I BOOKED A $2,000 RENTAL FOR A GROUP TRIP, BUT NO ONE PAID ME BACK THEIR SHARE OF THE COST — THEY DIDN'T GET AWAY WITH IT.

Alright, so every year, my friends and I plan a big group trip to a fun destination. This year, it was my turn to organize everything, and I was excited to take on the task. We decided on this beautiful lakeside cabin for a weekend getaway, and everyone was totally on board. The rental cost was $2,000 for the three-night stay, which broke down to $250 per person since there were eight of us.

I booked the rental and paid the full amount upfront, confident that my friends would pay me back as we had agreed. But as the trip got closer, I started getting excuses. First, it was "I'll get it to you next week," then "I just need to wait until my next paycheck," and eventually, some of them just stopped responding to my messages altogether. MY DOG SUDDENLY BECAME VERY ATTACHED TO MY WIFE & WOULDN'T LEAVE HER ALONE — WHEN I FOUND OUT WHY, I GOT DIVORCED.

Our 3-year-old Labrador Retriever, Rocky, has recently become ridiculously attached to my wife of 8 years, especially after she got sick with a stomach bug.

He's always been a snuggler and favored her, but his clinginess just wouldn't stop, even after she got better.

Now he's a nervous wreck whenever she leaves, sitting by the door until she gets back and glued to her side when she's home. It got worse when he actually growled at another dog near her during a walk, something he's never done before.

We were freaked out, thinking it might be an aggression issue, so we decided to take him to the vet to make sure he wasn't in pain and to figure out what was going on. But soon, I discovered the real reason, and IT TURNED MY WORLD UPSIDE DOWN BECAUSE MY WIFE...⬇️

MY HUSBAND PRETENDED TO RENT OUR HOUSE WHILE HE ACTUALLY OWNED IT – I WENT PALE WHEN I FOUND OUT WHERE OUR RENT MONEY WENT

So, I've been super careful with money for years, always saving every penny, never buying anything nice for myself, just so we can pay the rent for our cute little house. Paul and I would both chip in for it, but he was always the one to actually pay the landlord. I never questioned it because I trusted my husband, I mean, we've been together since forever.

Anyway, he was off on this short business trip, and I thought, "He's doing so much for us, I'll just take care of the rent this month and surprise him." So I go to the bank, tell the teller I need to pay the rent and give them the account number Paul had written down in his notepad for our landlord.

The teller looks it up and says, "Yeah, this account gets the payments every month." But then, MY STOMACH DROPS AND I GO PALE as she says, "This account belongs to... ⬇️

My grandmother passed away, and all she left me in her will was an old sofa. My father was very angry, saying, "She took all her wealth to the grave! You're her only grandchild!" But I respected her will.

Grandma often read me fairy tales on this sofa, and I listened, fascinated, with a cup of tea. I loved spending time with her, and she understood me like no one else...

NEIGHBORS INSTALLED A CAMERA AIMED AT MY GARDEN – I TAUGHT THEM A SAVAGE LESSON WITHOUT GOING TO COURT

So, a middle-aged couple moved in next door recently. No kids, just them. They came over to say hi and acted all weird, but I brushed it off. A week later, I went to visit my mom for the weekend. When I got back, I was ready to relax in my backyard after work, wearing my swimsuit to catch some sun and tend to my tomatoes. As I'm lying there, I glance over at their house, and BAM! Under their eaves, there's a surveillance camera pointed right at my yard, recording everything. My yard, mind you, is surrounded by a high fence.

I was fuming. No windows of theirs even face my yard, so that camera had no business being there. I threw on some clothes and stormed over to their place, demanding to know why they were filming my yard. They said they were recording the fence to PREVENT ANYONE FROM CLIMBING OVER FROM MY SIDE. I told them they were violating my privacy, but they couldn't care less. Sure, I could've taken them to court, but who’s got the time for that? Instead, I cooked up a brilliant plan to teach them a lesson.

MY DAD, WHO LEFT OUR FAMILY 20 YEARS AGO, CALLED ME FROM HIS DEATHBED TO ASK FOR A FINAL WISH – WHAT HE ASKED FOR BROKE MY HEART.
I have not seen my dad for most of my life. He left my mom and me when I was a teenager and never came back home.
