Alex was sitting in the park, lost in his thoughts, when a sobbing sound from behind suddenly interrupted him.

"Sir, can you please help me? My mom needs help!" it said.

Turning around, Alex noticed a small child holding a teddy bear. The sun had nearly risen, and the rays falling on the girl's face froze Alex in place.

No way! This isn't possible! She can't be... His mind raced. He was stunned by the mere sight of the girl. She looked so much like him!

"Sir," she said again, pulling his jacket closer to her. "Please, help my mom!"

"Umm... where is your mom? And what happened to her?" Alex asked.

"Lady, when you travel, you need to book TWO seats!" James sneered.

The woman's eyes filled with tears but James was on a roll, especially when he noticed that her clothes were cheap and old-fashioned and her shoes were very worn.

He said, "I guess your whole budget goes on nachos and hot dogs, right? So you can't afford two seats? Next time pass the hat, I'm sure all your fellow passengers will be very generous!"

The woman turned her face to the window, and in the reflection, James could see the tears running down her cheeks.

MY STEPDAUGHTER DEMANDED I TRANSFER ALL THE ASSETS OF HER LATE DAD TO HER & HER — I DID, BUT SHE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT ONE LITTLE DETAIL.

I (57F) lost my husband of 25 years last year. He had a daughter, Susan (34F).

Our relationship with Susan was fine. She got married to the man of her choice, but after that, it was all downhill.

When he died, he didn't leave a will. After his death, Susan didn't even attend his funeral. Barely six months later, she and her husband barged into our house with a lawyer, demanding I sign some documents and a blank sheet.

I asked the lawyer what it was about. He said it was for transferring all the assets into Susan and her husband's name. I said no. When they refused to leave, my neighbor, bless his heart, heard the yelling and physically kicked them out.

NEW HOMEOWNERS DEMANDED THAT I REMOVE 'MY GARBAGE' FROM THE GARAGE – A WEEK LATER, THEY CALLED BEGGING ME TO RETURN IT

I just sold my parents' house and went through the whole place, making sure everything was cleared out. I even had it professionally cleaned before putting it on the market, and no one had lived there since.

Two days after closing, the new owners started bombarding my realtor with calls, complaining about "my garbage" left in the garage. They'd seen it before, and it hadn't been an issue, but now they wanted to charge me for additional cleaning.

Well, even though I live two hours away and have three kids to take care of, I offered to come back and sort it out. I cleared everything out of the garage, took it with me, and left.
