After spending the last year tirelessly working on our album American Parasite, we were in the mood to do something lighthearted, spontaneous and fun. And because we have a tendency to do whatever the hell we want to do, whenever the hell we want to do it...that's exactly what we did! The Joy Thieves' cover of Shriekback's classic song, Nemesis, is out today on Armalyte Industries...and it's ABSOLUTELY FREE!

This is some very cool news!

If you are interested in something like this for YOUR music, don't forget that the mastering process for vinyl is VERY different than the mastering process for other mediums. You'll want to get a separate set of masters done for a vinyl release, or you will NOT be happy with the results.

Just one day after the review of The Joy Thieves' "A Blue Girl" EP, ReGen Magazine has dropped a review of the "Genocide Love Song" single.

"With Chris Connelly’s voice once again front-and-center and at its most virulent, 'Genocide Love Song' is pure industrialized blunt force trauma, it’s pulsating rhythms and abrasive synth and guitar textures recalling the most powerful moments the genre has offered."

This was by far the quickest mixes we have done, but hopefully the speed added to the urgency of the song.

The world of music production has always been one of changes, but this new post-COVID world of ours has rendered it almost unrecognizable. As a reaction to these transformations, musicians from around the world are now recording their music in their own personal or home studios.
